Our responsibilities towards senior citizens

Support for artistes

I wish I were 20 years younger to enjoy better the ample opportunities and facilities that are available today. Thanks to technological progress, the awareness and reach is so vast. In our days, we had to slog it out to achieve even a little. Youngsters today are quite knowledgeable and also respectful towards the elders. But I feel the government needs to do more for the senior citizens, especially artistes. Since many ageing artistes find it difficult to make ends meet they can be given a lifelong pension.
