June Rock Out, the Unwind Center's annual rock music festival, is back for the eighth year. And this year, after seven years' running in Chennai, the festival comes to Bangalore.
In the past, June Rock Out has featured more than 80 bands from India, besides other big bands such as Junoon from Pakistan, our own Louis Banks and Red Rain from New Zealand.
Every Saturday this June, the Unwind Center in Wilson Garden will play host to nine bands selected from among entries from all over India, with a grand finale planned on the final Saturday. The slots are still open for Indian bands looking to be a part of this year's event. In order to participate in the festival, bands need to send in a demo CD on or before May 5.
