The saga of hate

Chowta's is the first `single' album in India
|
Shakespeare said, "Jealousy, thy name is woman". Well, it looks like it is no more so limited to a gender. Look at this case of envy.
A man, attracted to the sensuality of a girl named Mallika goes to the extent of `hating' her when his feelings are not reciprocated. And then he sings, Mallika! I Hate You.
Music director Sandeep Chowta's latest album, Mallika! I Hate You has this theme of love and rejection bordering on hatred.
Sonu Kakkar of Babuji zara dheere chalo fame has sung the track.
Any reference to Mallika Sherawat, "is just coincidental," replies Chowta. "Mallika! I Hate You is about the extreme emotions that an attractive woman stir up in males.
It journeys from the feeling of passion to the feeling of grudge," describes Chowta.
"It is the first ever released `single' album in the Indian music industry. There are five versions of the same song in the album.
There is the original track, the lounge mix, the club mix, the desi mix and the tring tring version."
