It's playtime, folks

Watch Neil Simon's play "Come Blow Your Horn", this evening at Alliance

If you are game for an evening of comedy, head to the Alliance Francaise of Madras, College Road, at 4 p.m. today where Neil Simon's "Come Blow Your Horn" will be staged. The play is produced by Boulevard View Productions, Bangalore.

One of Simon's most popular comedies, "Come Blow Your Horn" revolves around Alan Baker, a Manhattan bachelor, a playboy cruising through life without commitments or worries. When his kid brother Buddy moves in with him, his world turns upside down, as the usually timid and cautious Buddy becomes exactly like his older brother. It's a comedy of personalities as the two brothers struggle with each other, their parents and with the two women who keep coming in and out of their lives.

College students from Bangalore and Chennai comprise the cast and the show is in aid of Prepare, an NGO, working with indigenous communities, helping in the development of the destitute, gender oppressed and children of commercial sex workers.

The play will also be staged on May 7, 13 and 14, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the same venue. Tickets priced at Rs. 100 are available at Landmark, Mocha and on the show dates at the venue. For details, call 98841 39243.
