Reason to celebrate

A musical evening to mark the 50th birthday of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on May 13

The Vyakti Vikas Kendra, Tamil Nadu, is celebrating the 50th birthday of Sri Sri Ravishankar, founder of Vyakti Vikas Kendra, India and the Art of Living Foundation worldwide. He is the inspiration behind numerous charitable institutions worldwide.

B. V. Ramanan will set the mood for the celebration by rendering devotional tunes with his troupe at the Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet, on May 13, 6.30 p.m. Ramanan has given over 3,000 performances in India and abroad. A meditation session will follow the programme.
