NEW CHAT SHOW

Vijay TV is treading a different path. It does not want to do too many soaps, instead believes in reality and chat shows. Its latest show premiered last Sunday (9 p.m.-10 p.m.) was "Neeya? Naana?", hosted by the popular anchor Gopinath. He says, "Each Sunday, we have the programmes where a topical subject is chosen and two groups with extreme views face each other and discuss the issue." In the first episode, the subject was - "Is a fan club for film stars required or not?" Fan club members of popular stars took part in the discussion. And for the second episode, the topic was astrology where believers (leading astrologers) and non-believers took part.
