GOODBYE JASSI

Last week, Sony TV's most popular show "Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin" was finally over after running for three years. In the concluding episode, Jassi took her fans through some of the most intriguing and heartening moments in her life. Let us hope that Sony gives Jassi a break for at least a few years before starting work on the sequel. Anyway nights without Jassi are not going to be the same again, but the channel has to move on. Sony is replacing the popular serial with a one-hour supernatural thriller "Khauffnak" every Monday to Thursday, 10 p.m.-11 p.m. The programme is produced by Sri Adhikari Brothers, well known for thrillers and super natural dramas such as "Surag" and "Hello Inspector". Incidentally, producer Gautam Adhikari is listed in the Limca book of records for directing the highest number of hours on television!
