Banking on players

Taking celebrity endorsement to another level, Germany's Deutsche Bank has introduced ace tennis player Sania Mirza and legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar as brand ambassadors. These two celebrities will endorse the bank's offerings through personal appearances, advertisements and events. Deutsche Bank is launching retail banking in India and is also offering current and saving accounts to salary overdrafts, loans and investment products.

Says Sania, "I really relate to the work ethics of the bank and look forward to working with Mr. Gavaskar to promote Deutsche Bank".

Gavaskar expresses, "As an opening player I always insisted to have an excellent partner and I am glad to partner Deutsche Bank as an ambassador".

According to Ajay Bimbhet, Managing Director and Head Private and Business Clients, Deutsche Bank, India, "Our customers in India can go to any Visa ATM to contact us. We are forging an international ATM alliance, first of its kind in India. Our clients overseas can access 30,000 ATMs in 40 countries to withdraw money. They will be able to transact without any interference".
