When heaven met hell

Delhiites had fun at the first annual Maxim party at Elevate discotheque the other day

Originally considered a western trend, one works hard for five days in a week and parties harder on the weekends. But it has been quite a while that the trend has now crept into our lives too. But the only difference perhaps is that we Delhiites don't mind partying even before the weekend starts.

Showing ample evidence of it this past Thursday, fun-loving Delhiites poured in great numbers at the first annual Maxim party at the Elevate discothèque in Centrestage Mall, Noida.

Maxim parties, known for fun and excitement, are described by the veterans as `the one thing to experience before you die'. The unique `Heaven Meets Hell' theme of the party was really a hit with the crowd. People enjoyed the dance performances, be it the `coyote ugly' style jig at the bar or the one in a cage.

Provogue show

The party also saw a fashion show where the men's brand Provogue launched its spring-summer collection that included an extensive range of footwear, eyewear, denims and T-shirts. The collection also had the trademark party wear range. Among others, super model Ujjwala Raut walked the ramp.

The crowd that included mostly youngsters, seemed to have a good time enjoying the music and shaking a leg at the floor.

The annual Maxim party, after Delhi, will go to rock Mumbaites and Bangalorians.
