Gender equality

The article "What do women want" (May 6) made an amusing study of what Ms. Post-Modern wants of men. Women have been conditioned by nature to suspect the motive of men. It brings to my mind a song from the famous, old film "Missiamma" where the hero says women don't mean what they say; if they say `yes' they mean `no' and if they say `no' they mean `yes'. I welcome the accommodative nature of men these days, which is a result of their belief in gender equality. It effaces ego clashes thereby contributing to harmony in the family.
