LAP OF LUXURY MTDC's houseboats aim to offer customers a premium experience
In order to cater to tourists looking for a houseboat experience in regions other than Kerala and Kashmir, the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is now launching its own fleet of houseboats.
With the aim of creating a great luxury experience, these massive 80-foot long boats will be equipped with amenities such as furnished bedrooms, sun decks and spacious living rooms and dining areas, all with central air-conditioning.
Moreover, all the houseboats also come with a professional housekeeping crew, trained lifeguards and a maintenance crew.
Every houseboat also comes with its own smaller craft that customers can use to take exploratory trips through the forgotten corners of the picturesque landscape.
The houseboat service is being kicked off by MTDC in October, with one luxury boat and two standard boats on each of the routes.
