Another hunt begins

You think you have it in you to be a singer? If yes, head towards the Pizza Corner, Banashankari, on May 21 for the preliminary round. Target Challenge 2006, a talent hunt, will audition "talented young singers". The second round will be held on May 25 at the Pizza Corner, Indiranagar. Shortlisted participants will be called for the final audition on May 27 at Pizza Corner, Brigade Road. The auditions will be done by Annujj Kappoo, music director of the famed Saregamapa series, aired on Zee TV.

Four toppers from this final audition can look forward to a direct entry into the next season's final audition round of Zee TV's Saregamapa.

That's not all the winner will also get a chance to perform at the Masti Ke Sargam concert, scheduled on June on 3 at the Palace Grounds, where they will be performing in the presence of the music director-composer, Sandeep Chowta.

Participants should sing only recent chartbusters and replace any word in the first two lines with the word "target", say the organisers.

The contest is open to those in the age group of 17 to 28 years.
