Adidas opens SPC

There is good news for sports buff in Vizag. Adidas, leading sports brand opened its first Sports Performance Centre (SPC) at Dwarkanagar here on Monday. The store that is the first of its kind in the State presents a broad range of Adidas athletic footwear and apparel.

Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Adidas India, Andreas Gellner said, "The renovation concept is entirely new with a standardised colour scheme and posh interiors matching international standards."

At the SPC, the customers will be able to enjoy and choose from the latest Adidas collections besides the `Spring Summer - 06' range and the official licensed product range of apparel and accessories. The materials, shapes and fixtures in the store are based on specific product presentation needs. "The requirements for every sport are different. And we take every effort to provide the customers the right product suitable for every sport," said Gellner. The showroom has a wide range of apparels featuring tennis shorts, jogging lowers, full-length track-suits, basketball singlets to a variety of T-shirts for both casual wear and sports. The apparels and shoes are not only trendy but they are high on comfort in today's world of fitness and sports. You name the sport and they will furnish the required gear, right from boxing shorts to football jersey and from cricket shoes to tennis sweat bands.

Adidas has its strong presence in more than 70 countries and has 110 showrooms all over India. "We will shortly open our centers in Hyderabad and Vijaywada too," informed Gellner.
