The flavour of Cannes

The twin cities will see the screenings of some landmark movies

Alliance Francaise and Hyderabad Film Club, in collaboration with the French Embassy in India, is presenting select films that have featured in the Cannes Film Festival earlier. As a tribute to the Cannes film festivals, films will be screened at the Prasad Labs Preview Theatre in the city between May 22 and 27 at 6.30 p.m.

The screenings are as follows: Marana Simhasanam, directed by Murali Nair, on May 22. Fanfan la Tulipe, by Christian Jacques, on May 23. Murali Nair's Pattiyude Divasam on May 24, Mon oncle d'Amérique, by Alain Resnais, on May 25, Murali Nair's Arimpara on May 26 and Claude Miller's May La classe de neige on May 27. Entry is free.
