Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) now has a new online system for tourists. The website www.maharashtratourism.gov.in will permit tourists facilities such as bookings, payments including ones made using credit cards, alteration of booking rates, checking availability of resorts and services, destination profiles, package information, transport details, fare enquiry, package availability and online cancellation. International tourists too can make reservations and payments for the Deccan Odyssey online. People choosing this system can also choose to pay in parts.

Tourists can pay a minimum of 20 per cent of the booking value and the rest of the payment can be made 30 days prior to the departure date. The payments can be made in INR or US dollars through a credit card.
