Vadaams anyone?

The descriptive "Oh! for some home-made vadaams" (May 8) made one's mouth water.

Homemade goodies are still in vogue but not to the extent they were.

"Living out a dream" (April 24) reveals the existence of the good work of the local unit of the `Make-A-Wish Foundation'.

This movement deserves support from all quarters.

After `Nai vaal', it is `Konangal' ("From a different angle," May 11).

It is gratifying to note that there are concerned groups interested in the screening of quality movies. It gives one the opportunity to watch rare films.
