A hot meal on a rainy evening

Noodles, vegetables, prawn and chicken. A delicious combination and a wholesome meal

On a rainy day when you are wondering what to cook, you could try this dish comprising noodles, vegetables, chicken and prawn. The combination is not just delicious, but also makes for a balanced meal, packed with proteins and vitamins. It is light and easy to make. So go ahead try it.

NOODLES-VEGETABLES,

CHICKEN

Ingredients

Prawn — 200 gm, cleaned and shelled

Boneless chicken — 200 gm cut in thin small pieces
Flat noodles — 300 gm
Spring onions — four, cut in big pieces
Onion — one big, cut lengthwise for frying
Carrot — 100 gm, cut fine, lengthwise
Chow chow — one, cut fine, lengthwise
Celery — two sprigs, cut fine, lengthwise
Cabbage — 100 gm, cut fine, lengthwise
Oil — four tbsp
Soy sauce — tbsp
Oyster sauce — one tbsp
Pepper — one tsp
Coriander leaves — one tbsp
Water — one litre
Salt to taste

Method

Cook noodles in water with one tbsp of oil and strain, run cold water so that it does not get stuck. In a frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil and fry the onion till golden. Add vegetables and salt. Cover the lid and cook till the vegetables are half done. In another pan, heat one tbsp of oil and stir fry prawn and chicken. Cook for three to four minutes with some salt.

Now take a big frying pan, heat one tbsp of oil, add noodles, vegetables, prawn, chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, coriander leaves, spring onion leaves and stir fry on a high flame, till all the ingredients are well combined. Serve hot. Voila! There's a delicious meal.
