For young football fans

ESPN STAR Sports and Adidas are initiating a nationwide search for four lucky children to represent India as FIFA Fair Play Flag Bearers at the World Cup in Germany.

In the first round of this round contest, participants must express their love for the game through a slogan. Entries are invited through SMS, call in or online registration. To register, children can SMS "FLAG" to 6464 from an Airtel mobile phone. They will then receive an SMS reply from Airtel on that number explaining the procedure to participate.

Alternatively, call in entries can be made by Airtel landline and mobile subscribers by calling 1286464 or 6464, respectively, and saying "FLAG". Callers will be given instructions on how to register. MTNL and BSNL subscribers can call 1905-180-3776. Children can also log on to www.espnstar.com and click on the "FIFA Flag Bearers Link" to register online. Short listed candidates from across the country will be invited for the second round in which they will be selected on the basis of a skill-based contest.

The four winners will be entitled to an all-expense paid two-nights and three-days return trip to Germany to watch one match during the FIFA World Cup. Log onto www.espnstar for more information on the World Cup.
