Two workshops will be conducted by the Madras Craft Foundation

Creative Karma is conducting a workshop on "spiritual quotient" for children in the age group 6 to 12 today (May 27), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at DakshinaChitra, Muttukadu, ECR. The workshop, conducted by Dr. Prithika Chary, neurologist-neurosurgeon and NLP master practitioner, aims to help kids in their spiritual development through prayer, reflection, art and movement. The fee is Rs. 750 per head. Only 25 children are allowed in a batch. For details call 98409 92310.
Cultural tourism
Meanwhile, The Madras Craft Foundation and The Kishkinta Trust are jointly conducting a cultural tourism workshop from June 22 to 26 at Anegundi, Hampi.
The aim of the workshop is to study the historical space and structures of this region, which was once the capital of the mighty Vijayanagara Empire. Also, the aim is to analyse the state of this region today. Participants will be oriented towards the efforts to conserve the site.
The ideas and issues will be shared by professionals and conservation architects who have worked in the region at various levels.
Participants will be picked up from Hospet Railway Station.
