Finally, the wait is over. Selvaraghavan's long-delayed gangster movie "Puthupettai" is hitting the screens tomorrow. The advance booking has been encouraging, as Selva, the director, is a youth icon. A lot of hope is riding on the film, which will decide the future of Dhanush. "Puthupettai" is a do-or-die effort for the young actor. According to Selvaraghavan, who has tried his best to revive his younger brother's career: "`Puthupettai' is a different type of movie which takes a realistic look at the gangs of Chennai. It has nothing to do with `City of Gods' as has been made out by the local media. Dhanush, Sneha, Sonia and others have come up with riveting performances." Yuvan Shankar Raja's breathtaking background score and songs along with the camera of Aravind Krishna are the other plus points.
