V. Aparajita performs Bharatanatyam at Delhi Tamil Sangam

As Delhi's sweltering summer draws many a busy artiste away to the pleasanter climes of Europe, the auditoriums back here do not remain empty. This is the time for younger performers to get their share of attention, as hall bookings become available and there are relatively fewer events to compete for audiences.

This Sunday it is the turn of V. Aparajita of Mumbai, who presents a Bharatanatyam performance at the Delhi Tamil Sangam at 6 p.m. Aparajita is a student of Guru Padmini Radhakrishnan of the Soundarya Natya Kalalaya, Ghatkopar, Mumbai.

Aparajita will be encouraged by the presence of senior Bharatanatyam guru Saroja Vaidyanathan as well as Reena Ramachandran.
