VH1 Rock Rules, the three-city rock music festival organised by the international music channel VH1, comes to Bangalore this week. The festival features popular international bands such as Empire Dogs, Haven and Taxiride performing with local bands from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

On June 2, Australian band Taxiride takes stage at Palace Grounds, in a concert that will also feature talents such as Synaps, Parousia and Lounge Pirahnas. This is the first big concert being organised in Bangalore by VH1, and follows the success of the VH1 Hip Hop Hustle, held last November in Mumbai and Delhi.

The concert kicks off at 6 p.m. at Palace Grounds. Entry is free.
