On the outskirts of the city, near Shamirpet, Sonu `Super' Sood gets ready to give an action-packed shot. The film on the floor is Surendar Reddy's Ashok, starring NTR and Sameera Reddy.

"This is the final day of the shoot. I play the anti-hero. Surendar Reddy has given an interesting see saw narration between the characters. The film will be hitting the screen on July 7. I have fallen in love with Telugu industry," he says, taking a pause between the shots. The current flick is his third Telugu cameo after Super and Athadu.

"After working in so many languages nothing normal excites me," observes Sood as he speaks of the projects on hand, including Ravichandran's film, "a college subject that deals with hostel politics, ragging and inter college wars. It reminded me of my college days," he reflects.

And there is Prahlad Kakkar's directorial debut on the capital and crime. "Delhi has become the most unsafe place in the country. I play the politician's son who sees his father involved in wrong things.

The characters in the film are grey and black," he reflects.

This apart he is also enthused about the cross over flicks in his kitty. "I have done Rockin Meera, film by Hollywood short film maker. It is a love story played on a comical platform. It is about fusion of cultures. I play the Indian prince. The film also features hip-hop singer TQ.

The film was shot in the US and Bikaner and will be participating in the Toronto and Venice film festivals shortly this year. I am also doing a US-Pakistan cross over film about a guy who lives in the US and decides to go back to Pakistan but the catch 22 situation, on racism he features in the US and not being able to adjust back in Pakistan," he says. "Working on the cross over films was an amazing experience. The entire crew was from the US. You get the scripts in advance and the shooting schedule sheets with drawings daily. The whole thing is so programmed," says Sood.

"The journey has been amazing--being a Punjabi guy and working in Telugu and Tamil industry apart from Bollywood flicks," he sums up.
