Awesome foursome

Red Hot Chilli Peppers chat up on their music

ROCKIN ON Red Hot Chilli Peppers

In 1983 a California based alternative rock band was conceived, in a living room in Hollywood. Behind this innovative venture were four close buddies from Fairfax High School - Anthony Kiedis, Hillel Slovak, Flea and Jack Irons.

Today the foursome have to their credit nine studio albums that have sold just over 50 million copies worldwide, and go by the name of Red Hot Chilli Peppers. And their expertise spans most of the genres of music beginning from Funk, Punk, Rap, Psychedelic rock to the latest Pop Rock. Californication was an instant success that set the music charts on fire on its release in 1999. This time around, the band is back with their first single `Dani California', which was released in April 2006. Red Hot Chilli Peppers happens to be the Chosen One on Channel [V] this month. Tune in for a candid conversation with the group exclusively this Thursday, at 10.00 pm on Channel [V].
