Royal ride

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey, the ultimate adventure trip for owners of Royal Enfield mtorcycles, is round the corner. Running its second edition, the 14-day adventure ride will traverse about 2,500 km in some of the roughest terrains, breathtaking corners, and tall mountain passes in the world. The highest point that the riders would touch would be the Khardung La, at 18,350 feet above mean sea level. The flag-off is scheduled at New Delhi on June 24 and the adventure run will finish at the same venue on July 7.

Speaking about the support crew, L Ravichandran, CEO, Royal Enfield, said "We have expert pilots to guide the group through bad weather and rough terrain. Qualified doctors and a team of mechanics would be travelling with the group."
