Selvi gets extension!
All eyes were on Radhika Sarathkumar and her "Selvi", produced by Radaan Mediaworks. Well, the good news is "Selvi", which is nearing its 350th episode, has been given an extension of three months during which Radhika has to wrap up the serial. In the coming weeks, the story will shift to Singapore as it picks up momentum and all lead characters will be there for a climax, according to a press release from Radaan Mediaworks.
Unique event
Raj TV has been focussing on mega events such as "Muthalvan Awards", "KB Oru Sagaptham" and "Endrendrum Valee" to gain popularity. Now the channel has come up with a 10-town musical star nite event across Tamil Nadu titled "Kodai Kondattam." The programme mix has songs by Harish Raghavendra, Srilekha Parthasarathy, Sriram and others, dance by Spellbound and a fashion show. The show is being conducted in 10 small towns of Tamil Nadu like Vellore, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam and other B and C stations, where the audience gets a taste of a live television show for the first time.
Raj TV will telecast each event on alternate Sundays from May 28.
