Cholayil Sanjeevanam, which is part of the Cholayil group (the makers of Medimix ayurvedic soap), has opened a branch of its ayurvedic treatment centre in Nungambakkam (New No. 97, Old No. 45, Nungambakkam High Road, ph: 55718427 or 55718428).
The centre offers holistic health services based on ayurveda, naturopathy and yoga, blending traditional wisdom with modern conveniences.
The centre helps manage asthma, hypertension, obesity, migraine, diabetes, skin disorders, arthritis and insomnia.
Besides, its Sanjeevanam Vegetarian Health Restaurant provides food prepared according to naturopathic principles. Earthen, bronze and copper vessels are used by specially trained cooks to prepare the fare. No chemical preservative or colouring agent is used. The speciality here is the food is freshly made and never reheated.
Incidentally, Cholayil Sanjeevanam is holding a food festival at its Mogappair (No. 50, Block 1, First Floor, AMM Towers, Thiruvalluvar Road, ph: 26243249) and Nungambakkam centres till June 9, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. With the aim of satisfying the palates of both the health conscious and food connoisseurs, the festival menu features North Indian, South Indian, tandoori, Chinese and Continental cuisines. The dinner buffet is priced at Rs. 150 per person. A `Happy Hours' discount coupon is offered for every bill worth above Rs. 150.
