Audio launch for serial!

Now, big budget serials in Hindi are having audio launches just like films.

After the success of the "Nach Baliye", "Remix" and "Star Parivaar" awards albums, STAR Plus organised the launch of the music album of its mega series, "Dharti Ka Veer Yodha-Prithviraj Chauhan", a collection of seven exclusive tracks.

The songs are rendered by the country's acclaimed playback singers Roop Kumar Rathode, Sadhna Sargam, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghosal, Babul Supriyo and Suresh Wadkar. All songs are written by veteran lyricist Ravindra Jain, who is also the music director.

Says Ajay Vidyasagar, executive vice-president, STAR India: "It is a better way of extending our brand experience — taking it from visual to an audio experience."
