Music sans borders

The French band `Jugal Bandi' will perform at AKG Smaraka hall at 6.30 p.m., on June 10.

The artistes are Richard Bernet (sarod), Nabankur Bhattacharya (tabla), Ricco (trumpet), Saon Bamba Camara (singer), Hamid Gribi (percussions) and Laurent Pernice (base guitar).

Coming from the four corners of planet music, the members of Jugal Bandi give a new meaning to the adjective multicultural.

The event has been organised by Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum in association with the embassy of France in India, HSBC and Muthoot Plaza Hotel. The event is open to the public.
