Help yourself

It is all a question of convenience. Just walk down to a complex that offers everything from a ready-to-eat food item to magazines and pharmaceutical products, and pick up something of your choice. Simple? Well, that is exactly what this 24X7 convenience store in Great Kailash strives to provide.

The second such store in the Capital, it provides everything from food and beverages to cassettes and CDs across the counter. Add to that the range of services provided by the store and you really save time and energy. "The whole idea is to make life easier for people, to give consumers services of international standards," says Samir Modi, President of 24-hour convenience store and scion of the Modi Group spearhead, K.K. Modi. "Such services have changed lives for people throughout Asia, say in Japan or Taiwan, and we want to bring about the same phenomenon to India," says Modi.

The services provided by the store include bill payments, national and international courier facilities, cellular recharge services, and a fully automatic 24-drink beverage express. You also have a unique Kodak picture maker to process pictures at hand, a rare service indeed. So the next time you venture out for miscellaneous items of daily use, also intending to make electricity bill payments and getting a top-up recharge, you might just find yourself under one roof . What more? Movie tickets are also available.

Another highlight of the store is experiment in marketing new products. Like packaged ice.

So, help yourself.
