For Siddarth winning is turning out to be habit as he takes home two tiltes

YOUNG CHAMP S. Siddarth
When 14-year-old S. Siddarth walked off the court after whipping Surya Pawan of Andhra Pradesh 6-0, 6-3 in the under-16 final of the AITA Talent Series at the CDTA courts in R.S. Puram, he looked at the vanquished and seemed to say, "Sorry, I had to do it."
The boy went on to claim the under-14 crown defeating the same opponent 6-3, 7-5. It was his booming backhand that did the trick for him.
Siddarth has made winning a habit. It's the scoreline that matters most to him. However, this time around, he was quite satisfied because he had to see through three tough contests on a single day. Blame it all on the weather. With rains lashing the city, the organisers had no option but to reschedule the matches.
The title round in both the boys and girls section were held early in the morning. It was cold but Siddarth and the others braved the conditions well.
At the end of the day, Siddarth, a class nine student of Vivekalaya MHSS in Coimbatore, heaved sigh of relief and thanked the heavens for rewarding him with a double crown.
