Admission angst

Scope for merit

A decade ago, it wasn't that difficult to get into the course of one's choice, but now the competition at every level for admission has ensured that students like me are left with no choice but to take whatever comes our way.

Every college wants only the top students. And those who don't have the marks use their influence to get through management seats. But where will an average student, who doesn't have any strings to pull, go?
