T.V specials on nature

A four segment show on the changing Indian environment will be telecast from today

Today, on World Environment Day, Discovery Channel will premiere a special programme on the untold story of the impact climate changes on Indian environment.

The one-hour programme is divided into four segments and has been produced by four young, emerging filmmakers, and were funded under the UK-CMS Environmnet Film Fellowships.

The programme explores reasons for the changes in climate, conditions in India which could impact agriculture, water resources, sea level rise and the overall eco system of the country.

The four segments are - Climates First Orphans by Nila Madhab Panda, The Weeping Apple Tree by Vijay Jodha, A Green Agony by Geeta Singh and A Degree of Concern by Syed Fayaz. Catch this show from tonight, from 7 p.m. onwards.
