Philips, one of the sponsors of the World Cup, has launched the O.G.P.F.W.C.P.C. (Official Global Philips FIFA World Cup Preparation Centre) for football enthusiasts from India.
The virtual centre is fully interactive, allowing visitors to walk through different rooms, like a video game. In each room, football fans will learn a variety of humorous and entertaining preparation tips pertaining to the World Cup experience, ranging from the best way to decorate a football home and celebrate a victory, to an online game that will award lucky fans with tickets to the World Cup. The Olive Beach Restaurant is hosting a month of celebration till the end of the World Cup. A large screen has been set up at the bar area with an ambience recreating a football atmosphere. Lots of flags and buntings decorate the venue and bartenders sport football T-shirts.
There are special deals on beer and snacks. A Fosters bucket for four is priced at Rs. 400. Games are being organised with prizes. You can also have your face painted with the colours of your favourite team.
