A Tamil Nadu Artists' Directory will soon be available online

Studio Canvas, situated at No. 222, Peters Road, Royapettah, is planning to float a "Tamil Nadu Artists' Directory", which will be accessible online (www.artistdirect.in) . It will be the first of its kind in the State.
The core concept of the directory is to bring together under one umbrella, all the contemporary artists in Tamil Nadu. It will make them directly accessible to customers and art lovers, as the artists' portfolio will be provided on the Net.
Fine arts professionals who have completed their Fine Arts Degree may apply. There will be a panel to select the artists for the website. Those interested in applying will have to send their bio-data and work statement, along with their photograph and a photograph of one of their works. There is no charge for this service.
The bio-data and work images should be sent in CD format or can be e-mailed to artistdir@gmail.com
Value-added services from Studio Canvas can be availed of by those who are not familiar with the Internet. Studio Canvas will open a mail id for such persons, operate it and provide the required service.
