The comedy talent hunt "Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru" is back

The "Hutch Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru", (HKPY) the comedy talent hunt show on Vijay TV, is back with its second edition. The show, which received a great response in its first round, is attracting talent from across the borders from countries such as Malaysia and Singapore, besides other States such as Kerala and Maharashtra.
The audition will take place between June 14 and June 27, 2006, at the 450 Sify iway outlets in Bangalore and across Tamil Nadu. As part of a tie-up between Vijay TV and Sify iway.
Sify will charge a minimum of Rs. 25 per participant as facility usage and Internet usage will be provided for the same. Vijay TV is using technology such as webcams and broadband Internet service for the event.
The short-listing will be done by well-known personalities from the film and television world along with a special jury appointed by Vijay TV. The channel has also roped in some participants of `HKPY Part I' for one of the episodes.
Incidentally, Kovai Guna, winner of "Kalakka... -I", is now busy with films directed by Vikraman and Vincent Selva.
The judges for this show are popular comedians Chinni Jayanth, Madan Bob and Uma Riaz and the show is expected to be launched on July 21.
