Srimati Andhra Pradesh contest

U. Hema Shilpa

She is a model, an actress, a kuchipudi dancer and a loving mother. One of the finalists of Srimati Andhra Pradesh contest conducted by Zee Telugu channel, U. Hema Shilpa perfectly balances her myriad roles in life.

She is now eagerly waiting for the final results of the contest that will be declared on July 8. It was her sheer will and determination along with the support of her husband and family that led her to participate in the contest.

"It was a great learning experience for me," says Hema. More than 1,000 people participated from different places of the State, out of which 50 were shortlisted for the rounds.

The show was telecasted in Zee Telugu channel and now only ten finalists remain. Hema, an employee of the HSBC, is one of the two finalists from Vizag. The final selection will be done through an SMS voting poll where viewers will take the final decision.

Says a confident Hema, "I take life as it comes. I never planned for this contest. It just happened. But this experience has given me a lot of exposure." To vote for Hema, SMS ZTHEMA to 7575.
