Hip Asia showcases Thai cuisine till July 2 at a festival

The flavours of Thailand are being showcased at a Thai Food Festival, on at Hip Asia, Taj Connemara, till July 2. Thai cuisine is an amalgam of different flavours and styles. It is also aesthetically presented, making for a complete culinary experience.

The hotel has flown in Chef Bensani Nawisamphan, from Thailand. She presents some of the most authentic Thai recipes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

The choice is vast and you can begin a meal with starters such as Por Pla Jay (deep fried spring roll with vegetable and sweet chillies sauce) and Poo Nim Phad Kapro (stir fried soft shell crab with chilli and basil leaves) and then go on to main course dishes such as Panaeng Pakruam Jay (dried curry of mixed vegetables), Phan Pak Kana, Hed Jay (fried kale shitake mushroom with soy sauce). The meal can be completed with mouth watering desserts such as Khoa Neow Mamuang (mango with sweetened sticky rice and ice cream).
