Her debut with the same name last year was touted as a refreshing blend of sophisticated wordplay, haunting melodies, subtle textures and atmosphere positioning her pop music's rising star. She was also chosen for Rolling Stone's `The Next List' of people to watch out for. With childhood inspirations Elvis and subsequently Fiona Apple, Tori Amos and John Mayer, it was not a surprise then that her Breathe (2 AM), also featured on this cover, was a chart topper. "Whatever the source of the interpretation, the feelings I get are personal. I find a need to write these feelings down in words and the melody follows," says the artiste. This expanded album features new version of Wreck of the Day '06 as well as three sneak demos. The cover hits stores this week.

He adorns the cover of Vogue Hommes Spring Summer 2006. Style icon and American singer, songwriter and producer, Kravitz has not stopped making waves since his 1989 debut Let Love Rule. His latest project, a charity single for Hurricane Katrina victims, is already receiving rave reviews. Titled From The Bottom Of My Heart, the single is written and composed by Michael Jackson, and features noted artistes as well. Also this season make way for yet another edition that follows his earlier Baptism that found collaboration with Jay-Z featuring on the album. The compilation features hit singles and chart toppers from his earlier works.

The Day Has Come

Teen sensation and singer/guitarist Cheyenne from Frisco, Texas has been riding airwaves especially on MTV with her self-titled show. One of the breakthrough artists of the year, she earlier on featured on the OST of Elizabeth Allen's Aquamarine a flick based on a children's book by Alice Hoffman, with her riff heavy One Original Thing. She also has to her credit the chart topping single Hanging On released this month, also on the cover.
