Antique jewellery show


It is an exhibition that brings together a collection of original and recreated antique jewellery. Prince Jewellery at Cathedral Road is presenting `Ancient Secrets' a wide and rare array of precious pieces from the bygone era, which also includes authentic creations collected by the Prince family during their travels across India.

There are thalis, addigais, manga malais from Tamil Nadu, bridal finery and ear ornaments from the Malabar Coast, necklaces from Kolhapur, Thewa work from Rajasthan, jhumkas from North India, the famous Gowrishankar necklace from Chettinad and delicately crafted ornaments of the Mughal era.

The exhibition is on till July 16 from 10.30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
