Dhurries and blinds

Deck up your home with dhurries and blinds that are on display from today till July 13 (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.) at Thofah — The Ecostore. The jute and cotton dhurries in vibrant hues are from Warangal. They have been specially woven by Mitukula Srinivas, who has inherited the skill from his father M. Sathyanarayana. He exports his creations to Singapore, Hong Kong and Kenya.

The cotton dhurries come with contrasting borders, while the jute ones are in earthy shades. They are also available in different sizes. The bamboo and wooden indoor blinds are made-to-order according to the size of the windows. Customers have the option to select from a range of swatches and match with the upholstery with attractive borders.

Thofah is located at 25/2, Cenotaph Road, Second Lane, Alwarpet, ph: 98400 62194.
