Two new series devoted to women
|
With each day posing new challenges, the expectations from a woman have substantially increased. She has to juggle many roles — that of a parent, wife, career woman, daughter and friend. Besides striving to strike a balance and emerge a winner in all that she does, she has set herself high standards, be it staying fit, acquiring new skills or looking good.
Discovery Channel has introduced two new series, "Yummy Mummy" and "Runway Moms", keeping the modern woman in mind. The programmes will be telecast on Wednesdays from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and repeated on Sundays at the same time.
Whether it is making sense of baby's sign language or finding a new job, the "Yummy Mummy" series showcases the determination of today's woman. It provides tips on how to remain a supermom, and brings one face to face with some behind-the-door secrets of bringing up children.
"Runway Moms" presents the experiences of Expecting Models, a modelling agency devoted to professional pregnant models. Each episode focusses on a different model mom-to-be and tells her unique story. Aspects such as choosing between natural and medicated births, pre-natal yoga and more are touched upon. Besides viewers will get an opportunity to accompany the models on photo-shoots and learn their secrets on how to stay fit and glamorous.
