General Motors India has launched Chevrolet SRV. Touted as India's first premium Sports back, the five-door SRV is said to combine modern Italian design, a number of standard features and roomy interior.

Primarily targeted at young professionals, who are getting more and more attracted to design-oriented products.

According to President and Managing Director of the company Rajeev Chaba, "The SRV is a global product sold across Europe, North America, Canada and Asian markets that has been re-engineered for India based on extensive testing across the country to meet the specific needs of our customers as well as local driving conditions."

The vehicle is priced at Rs.6.97 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) and 7.51 lakhs with some added features.
