Know about the latest trends in health and fitness at an expo from July 14 to 16 at Chennai Trade Centre

With people becoming increasingly health-conscious, they are adopting fitness routines and switching to healthy diets and beauty treatments. In keeping with this trend, a Health and Beauty Expo will be held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, from July 14 to 16.
The objective is to facilitate convergence of all health- and beauty-related products and services, offer a unique `experience and feel' opportunity to visitors and create a new paradigm that integrates prevention with healthcare.
The expo will have theme pavilions, experience zones and live demos and presentations. The theme pavilions will focus on preventive healthcare, complementary and alternative medicines, nutrition and health, water and health, and physical exercise and health. The experience zones will offer hair colouring, styling, pedicure, makeovers and facials. The adventure zone will have a rock climbing simulator, rappelling and fitness demos by experienced trainers.
The stalls under preventive healthcare will display personal measuring/monitoring devices, alternative medicine, awareness initiative on lifestyle diseases, nutritional and health supplements, services such as therapy, massage, spa and yoga, expert advice, books and periodicals. The exhibits on fitness will comprise equipment and accessories as also service providers such as fitness and health clubs, slimming centres and yoga and naturopathy institutes. Beauty products will include those relating to skin, body, hair, nails and face.
