Travel chic and stylish

So what do you wear when you are on a holiday? Read on to find out

There's a range of clothing available now in wrinkle free materials that will ensure you stay looking your dapper self having travelled to the other end of the world. So go ahead and experiment.

Sartorially right

Mix and match and set the strait laced dressing aside for formal occasions. But this certainly does not mean that one gets the `careless' look. On a holiday you can look as stylish as it gets.

Get a few wrinkle free shirts in basic colours and a pair of formal pants.

If they aren't wrinkle free and you are holidaying on a beach in Hawaii, florals and camouflage are the code. And in keeping with the laidback spirit, the rule demands you don't iron them.

If there's no formal evening on the agenda, take a sports jacket along. You can roll it up into a pillow.

Carry accessories. A scarf will change the look of the attire. Tie a ponytail with it in the morning, and hang it around your neck in the evening. Go from casual to dressy. Add a pair of danglers, put on some lip-gloss, a good measure of confidence and you are ready for an evening with the queen.

A stole is a great idea too. Works both as a dupatta and as a shawl in the evenings.

Tuck in flowers in your hair, string a shell and wear it as a neckpiece. Show some creativity, it will only add to your stylish persona.

Don't carry shoes that need to be shines. Carrying shoe accessories, polish and brush can be quite cumbersome. Get a suede pair in brown or camel colour, or a comfy strappy pair instead. A pair of socks is a must as it will keep you warm if the weather changes suddenly.

Remember style is not what you wear, but how you wear it.
