Oratorical contest

Nandini Voice For The Deprived, a Chennai-based NGO, is conducting an oratorical competition for school students of Tamil Nadu. The topic is "How to eradicate the drinking evil in Tamil Nadu."

Open to students of Standards 11 and 12 of Government schools or Corporation/municipality or panchayat schools, the contest will be held in two stages.

While the preliminary rounds will be held in eight cities across the State in the first and second week of September, the finals will be held in three places across the State in the third week of September. The best three winners will get a chance to speak at a meeting in Chennai on October 2, when the prizes will be distributed.
