Rakhis galore

Rakhi bazaar on July 14

Maitri, a decade-old women's organisation, is holding its annual Rakhi Bazaar on July 14, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Samavesh Hall, Hotel Savera, Radhakrishnan Salai. The stalls will be put up by women entrepreneurs.

The highlight of the mela will be a wide selection of rakhis in bright hues and different sizes.

One can also pick up salwar kurtas, kurtis, saris, kids wear, silver, semi-precious and costume jewellery, night wear, bed linen, carpets and mats, Hyderabadi bangles, paper bags, gift items and artefacts.
