TASTY TREATS Use chapattis to make a tasty snack
Chapati snacks
Ingredients
Chapatis, made into pieces: 3
Tomatoes, medium size: 2
Green chillies: 2
Curry leaves and coriander
Turmeric: a pinch
Mustard seeds: a few
Onion, medium sized: 1
Ginger garlic paste: 1/2 tbsp
Mirchi powder: 1/4 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Garam masala: 1/2 tbsp
Water: 1 cup
Method
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and onions. Fry them for a few minutes. Then add mirchi powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala and tomatoes; fry it for a few minutes.
After frying these, add a cup of water and allow it to boil for a few minutes.
When the water starts boiling, add chapati pieces to it and boil until the water gets evaporated or absorbed and very little moisture is left.
Serve hot with onions mixed with curd (or) curd chutney. Garnish the curds with coriander.
