I love to be on my toes always. So when I pause to put up my feet, I cherish every moment. Shopping, relaxing and adventure — holidays offer a million possibilities. So, it's a time to freak out.

Good old Goa

Mumbai-ites' favourite getaway is Goa. Besides geographical proximity, it's close to their heart. If you wish to sign off the week boogieing away at a nightclub, lazing on the virgin beaches or tucking in delicious seafood, this coastal paradise offers a complete treat. It's here that the present beautifully blends with the past. So if you are the type who prefers to keep away from a noisy gang of friends, you can be amidst Nature, walking or cycling through paddy fields, coconut groves and nondescript villages.

Kids have a blast

I go on fun holidays with my children. They have a rollicking time in Goa indulging in adventure sports, especially my daughter Aaliya. For their sake, I quite often go to this land of beaches.

Seasoned shopper

Think shopping and it has to be London for me. I invariably return with stuffed suitcases. There's such good stuff and an amazing range (high-end designer stores to street boutiques) that you can completely refurbish your wardrobe. Selfridges and the stores in Oxford Street figure in my must-visit list.

Adventure holiday?

It has to be scuba diving in Lakshadweep and skiing in the Alps.
