Children and computer games

Avoid violent games

It is a good form of entertainment since each time you play a game it is a new experience. But anything in excess is harmful. Excess would be when the time spent on gaming intrudes into study time. In China, there are increasing cases of children being addicted to these games. In India, the situation is not very worrying because here the stress is on studies and other extra-curricular activities. Racing, which is the most popular computer game in our country, is not harmful. There are also games that help you learn dance and music. Violence in games is a definite `no' for children.
